I was supposed to only install the hempcrete on this build but when I arrived on site there was barely a complete steel frame.
To push the job along I called in a gang of friends and between us we helped finish the steel frame, helped waterproof the slab and plinth, installed the rafters and stud work and finally installed the hempcrete.
Magnesium Silicate board had been specified as an internal permanent shuttering board- I will never use this again. I question how environmentally sound it is and it doesn’t allow the hempcrete to dry through it which is pretty critical for a permanent shuttering.

you can see here the magnesium silicate board internal shuttering, I will never use this again, it is not breathable, we had to remove it in the end to allow the hempcrete to dry
