The client wanted a plaster that would look similar to the hempcrete substrate; textured, mottled and un-uniform.
I developed a plaster that used fine hemp shiv as an aggregate instead of sand and now it has become my favourite plaster.
The black plaster was for a single room and a last minute addition to the colour palate.
